The fire took place in Stamford on Sunday, June 5, in the parking lot of 587 Elm St. According to Sgt. Hamden Man Charged With Illegally Possessing Explosives A Connecticut convict is facing charges after being busted with illegal explosives, U.S. Attorney John Durham announced. Kenneth Lupoli, 57, of Hamden, was indicted by a federal grand jury and charged with one count of possession of explosives by a convicted felon. It is alleged that on May 28, Lupoli was found in possession of several explosives, including fireworks, fuses, and salutes.
