One Killed In Wrong-Way Crash With Tractor-Trailer, State Police Say One man was killed in a wrong-way collision with a tractor-trailer on a busy Connecticut roadway early on Christmas Eve Day. Connecticut State Police troopers responded to the eastbound lanes on Route 2 at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, where there was a report of a wrong-way crash in Glastonbury involving a tractor-trailer and a motorist from Cleveland. Bridgeport To Get $14.6M For Infrastructure, Economic Development Projects From State The state bond commission has officially approved a $14.6 million award the City of Bridgeport to be used for infrastructure and economic development. Mayor Joe Ganim attended the Tuesday, Dec. 11 state bond commission meeting, and a number of projects’ funding has already been approved. The Sikorsky airport will receive $7 million in infrastructure improvements, and the Congress Street Bridge will get $3.7 million for reconstruction.
