ID Released For Man Shot, Killed During Attempted Robbery At CT Motel Police have identified a Connecticut man who was killed while allegedly attempting to rob another man at a motel. Lamar Woodhouse, age 39, of New Haven, was killed early on Thursday, March 17, by the man he was attempting to rob at the Brandford Motel, located on East Main Street, police said. According to Brandford Police detectives, Woodhouse was attempting to rob a man at the motel at gunpoint when the man pulled out a gun and shot him. Two From Fairfield County Nabbed For Impaired Driving In NY With local and state police agencies cracking down on drunk, drugged and distracted driving, several local residents were among nearly two dozen in the area who found themselves on the wrong side of the law.
