Weeks-Long Lane Closures Scheduled On Merritt Parkway A bridge maintenance project on the Merritt Parkway will lead to lane closures and delays for more than a week in Fairfield County. The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that the nighttime bridge project will take place on the parkway (Route 15) beginning on Monday, Sept. 17 in Norwalk. The closures are expected to take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, from Sept. 17 through Friday, Sept. 28.
