Members of the Connecticut State Police Urban Violence Cooperative Control Taskforce, Narcotics Task Force, and Bridgeport police seized six illegal, loaded weapons that were in the home of a Bridgeport resident on Tuesday, July 28.
According to State Police, detectives located a significant amount of loaded weapons - including a stolen handgun - ammunition, drugs, and drug packaging paraphernalia.

A 19-year-old Fairfield County teen who was already facing gun charges was busted again for allegedly having a stolen gun and for possession of pot.
Elvis Almengot-Castillo, of Stamford, was arrested on Monday, Feb. 24, after officers with the Stamford Police Narc Squad received a tip the teen was selling drugs and was in possession of a gun, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
After receiving a search warrant, members of the squad stopped Almegot-Castillo and conducted a search where they came up with $300 in cash, but no drugs or guns, Conklin said.

An area man was busted for allegedly selling pot out of his apartment window.
Richard Desmond, 27, of Stamford, was busted on Friday, Nov. 29, after Stamford Narc squad officers set-up surveillance on his Greenwich Avenue apartment and saw him dealing pot out of his window, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
Officers waited until he left his apartment where he was seen making a deal on the street, Conklin said.

Norwalk Man Sentenced For Distributing Heroin
A Fairfield County convict will spend a decade behind bars after being sentenced for distributing heroin.
Joseph Daniels, 36, of Norwalk, was sentenced in New Haven to 120 months in prison, followed by eight years of supervised release, for distributing heroin in Fairfield County.
Daniels - who also goes by the name “Sean,” was arrested in May last year, after undercover officers made multiple controlled purchases of drugs from him. At the time of his arrest, investigators seized approximately 190 grams of heroin, other drugs, paraphernalia and more than $59,000 in cash.
