A Fairfield County man has been sentenced to prison for the brutal home invasion murder of an 93-year-old woman. Stamford/Norwalk State’s Attorney Paul Ferencek announced on Tuesday, May 23, that Robert C. Simmons was sentenced to 85 years in prison for the 2019 home invasion murder of Isabella Mehner in her Stamford home. Police Release Sketch Of Man Wanted In Connection With Stamford Incidents
Police in Stamford are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a person of interest who is wanted in connection to multiple incidents downtown. The Stamford Police Department released a sketch of a suspect in a winter hat on Wednesday who is wanted for his involvement on multiple charges for incidents that happened on Grove Street and the downtown area of the city.
