Motorist Driving Nearly 100 MPH Among 88 Ticketed In Latest I-684 Detail A motorist was busted driving nearly 100 mph in the rain on Wednesday, during a special police detail on I-684 in Westchester. New York State Police troopers dished out dozens of tickets in Bedford, including 67 for speeding during the detail. One motorist was clocked going 99 mph on I-684 during the storms that hit the area. In total, 88 summons were issued. The latest detail comes on the heels of two conducted by state police in the past week, when they dished out more than 150 tickets for distracted driving, speeding, failure to wear a seatbelt and other violations.
