Man Nabbed For Westport Gas Station Burglary, Police Say A man wanted by Westport Police for more than a year for a gas station burglary has been arrested for the alleged crime. The burglary took place in Westport on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, around 4:40 am, at the Riverside Sunoco, at 240 Riverside Drive. According to Westport Police Lt. Eric Woods, an officer on routine patrol discovered a forced entry burglary.  A further investigation revealed that the glass in the front door was smashed, and entry was gained, Woods said. Fugitive Wanted For Theft Of Over $25K Apprehended In Greenwich A woman wanted for stealing more than $25,000 has been apprehended in Greenwich, police say. Greenwich Police say they were contacted by the Louisiana Department of Justice Bureau on Tuesday, Oct. 8 around 5:30 p.m. The Bureau requested that the department serve two felony fully extraditable warrants for two Greenwich residents, one of whom was identified as Deadra Bastarache, 61, of Cos Cob, police say.
