CT State Trooper Shoots Knife-Wielding, Evicted Tenant: Police
An active, "complex" investigation is underway for an officer-involved shooting, officials say. A Connecticut state trooper assigned to assist in a court-ordered eviction of a tenant, who lived in the small Windham County town of Brooklyn, shot and injured the tenant on Tuesday, May 9 at approximately 9:35 a.m., according to the Connecticut State Police. Troopers arrived at the residence on Tiffany Street and reported that the tenant refused to comply with the eviction and was wielding a knife.
