Six, Including Pair In 80s, Caught Engaging In Sexual Activity In Fairfield Woods, Police Say
After receiving complaints of people engaging in lewd and sexual activity in a wooded area in Fairfield, police made six arrests, including two people in their 80s, following surveillance of the area, said the Fairfield Police.
The surveillance -- conducted by the department's Special Services and Quality of Life units, on Friday, Aug. 19, in the Grace Richardson Open Space area at the intersection of Congress Street and Morehouse Highway, captured the six allegedly committing several violations, said Fairfield Police Capt. A 41-year-old woman was arrested for DUI after she allegedly almost hit another vehicle after swerving from her lane in Wilton.
Erica Torres, of Norwalk, was arrested around 11:10 p.m., On Saturday, July 3, after she was spotted her driving a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on Danbury Road when she swerved and almost collided with another vehicle traveling northbound, said the Wilton Police.
After being stopped, Torres failed field sobriety tests and registered 0.1459 on a blood-alcohol test, police said.

Four men have been arrested after they were caught with stolen mail during a traffic stop in Greenwich, according to police.
Greenwich Police say the stop was initiated after the vehicle was observed being driven without lights on in the Riverside section of town on Monday, July 29 around 2:50 a.m.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was occupied by four men who were in possession of other people’s mail, police say.

A 40-year-old man was busted for speeding, while allegedly under the influence in the area of a school and a playground, Milford Police said.
Fernando Monter-Aztatzi of New Haven was stopped for allegedly speeding around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, on Merwin Avenue, near Anderson Avenue, said the Milford Police.
