The 24-year-old man was reported missing on Sunday, May 29, after he went from a vessel into Candlewood Lake, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection reported. Body Of 19-Year-Old Recovered In Farmington River A 19-year-old man who was swimming in the Farmington River drowned after disappearing in an area of water at least 20-feet deep. The incident took place in Hartford County around 1:40 p.m., Sunday, June 7, when the Farmington Police Department received a 911 call reporting a man was drowning in the river behind the Tunxis Meade Park.
