School Employee Caught With Child Porn In Fairfield, Police Say A school employee in Fairfield County has been charged with alleged possession of child pornography. Peter Wheeler, Jr., age 23, of Fairfield, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 23, following an investigation by police. Sgt. Michael Stahl of the Fairfield Police said the department received a tip in November 2023 from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit involving the potential possession of child pornography within the Town of Fairfield. The Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit arrested Simon Hessler, 47, who was wanted on sexual assault charges. Hessler was charged on Friday, Nov. 8 with four counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and four counts of risk of injury/impairing the morals of a minor. He has been remanded on $1,000,000 bail.
