DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Police Department will be accepting applications for certified police officers later this month. The application for Connecticut Lateral Entry Police Officers will be open from Jan. 22 to Feb. 12. Applicants must pass a battery of tests, including a written exam and a physical.
