Man Nabbed After Leaving Loaded Handgun In Diner Bathroom in Norwalk: Police A 38-year-old man was slapped with criminal charges and a $500,000 bond after leaving an illegally possessed handgun in the bathroom of a Fairfield County diner, police said. Norwalk resident Christopher Miles, age 38, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 21 by members of the Norwalk Detective Bureau in connection with an incident involving an illegally possessed handgun that happened in September, Norwalk Police announced. Know Them? Police Asking For Help Identifying Robbery Suspects In Norwalk Police are asking for help from the community in identifying two robbery suspects in Fairfield County. The robbery took place in Norwalk around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Al’s Warehouse Liquor Store, located at 617 Connecticut Ave. According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski, an employee called 911 to report she was robbed by two women.  The victim told officers she was assaulted by one of the suspects as she attempted to confront her for stealing a bottle of liquor, Podgorski said.  The victim declined medical treatment. Suspect Nabbed Within Minutes After Norwalk Bank Robbery, Police Say A suspect was caught within minutes after allegedly robbing a bank in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk on Thursday, March 9 at the First County Bank located at 700 Connecticut Ave. Officers responded to the bank after receiving an emergency report that they had just been robbed by a man wearing a mask and a hat, said Lt, Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police.
