Paul Silas, 3-Time NBA Champion Player/Coach Who Lived In Lewisboro, Dies
Former NBA player and coach Paul Silas who lived in Northern Westchester for a period of his life has died.
Silas died on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the age of 79, according to a tweet by the Houston Rockets, where Silas' son Stephen, is the team's head coach.
The cause of death was cardiac arrest, his daughter, Paula Silas-Guy, told The New York Times.
The Silas family lived in the town of Lewisboro hamlet of Waccabuc while Paul Silas was an assistant coach with the New York Knicks from 1989 to 1992 and New Jersey Nets from 1992 to 1995.

An over-the-counter supplement may help prevent COVID-19 infection, according to a brand-new report.
Melatonin, known as a sleep aid, could also help treat the virus, Cleveland Clinic scientists said in research published in the journal PLOS Biology.
Data that included nearly 27,000 people at the clinic showed a 28 percent reduced likelihood of contracting the COVID.
Melatonin, taken by mouth as a tablet, regulates the sleep-wake cycle and is often used for the treatment of insomnia and in adjusting to changes to the sleep cycle.

First Presidential Debate Tonight: When, Where To Watch
Tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 29, is the first presidential debate between incumbent Republican Donald Trump and Democrat challenger Joe Biden.
The debate will be held in Cleveland and Fox news program host Chris Wallace will be the moderator.
The event will begin at 9 p.m. and will last for about 90 minutes without commercial breaks.

Two cities in Connecticut rank among the top 50 Most Stressed Cities in America, according to a new study by a financial website.
One is in Fairfield County: Bridgeport ranked 33rd.
The other is New Haven in New Haven County -- which ranked 41st based on an analysis that considered stress in four areas: the workplace, finances, family, and health and safety.
The top-10 "most stressed cities" in America, according to the WalletHub analysis, were Detroit, Newark, Cleveland, Birmingham, Toledo, Baltimore, Wilmington, Milwaukee, Gulfport and St. Louis.
