Police ID Man Wanted In Shooting Of 2-Year-Old CT Boy Police have identified a man wanted in connection with the shooting of a 2-year-old Connecticut boy. The child was shot in the torso in New Haven County in Waterbury on Tuesday, June 21 at 99 Pinecrest Drive. Police identified the shooter as 20-year-old Kharis Samuels, of Waterbury, said the Waterbury Police Department. The family did not call 911 and instead brought the toddler to Waterbury Hospital around 1:35 p.m. The hospital notified police, and the child was then flown to Connecticut Children's hospital, where he is listed in critical, but stable condition, police said. Two Children, Grandmother Shot At Fairfield County Apartment Complex, Police Say Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who shot into a  Fairfield County apartment complex injuring two small children and their grandmother. The shooting took place around 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30 at the PT Barnum Housing Complex in Bridgeport. The incident took place at 8:15 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 21, in New Haven County in the area of Bunker Hill Avenue in Waterbury. CT Boy Critically Injured After Being Shot By Father, Police Say A 15-year-old Connecticut boy was critically injured after being shot by his father. The incident took place around 5:45 a.m., Monday, March 8, when Hartford Police responded to an address in the south end of the city on a report of a party shot.
