Danbury Woman, 24, Arrested For Fleeing From Police After Failing To Stop In Wilton, Police Say
A Fairfield County woman was arrested for allegedly fleeing from police when they attempted to stop her for a speeding violation.
Jessica Perez-Chimbo, age 24, of Danbury, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 29, for the incident which took place in Wilton in August, Wilton Police Lieutenant Gregg Phillipson said.

Man Busted With Ecstasy, Pot During Routine Traffic Stop, Wilton Police Say
A 20-year-old area man was allegedly busted with drugs following a traffic stop for equipment and moving violations.
Cristian Velez, 20, of Norwalk, was arrested on Saturday, June 27, in Fairfield County following a stop by Wilton Police, said Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk.
According to police, Velez was stopped driving a white 2008 Nissan Altima near the intersection of Danbury Road and Cannon Road for equipment and moving violations.
During the stop, officers found that Velez was driving with a suspended license, and officers detected an odor of marijuana, Kluk said.

Weston Man Allegedly Crashes Truck Then Flees Scene, Reports It Stolen, Police Say
A Weston man was arrested after allegedly telling police that his vehicle had been stolen following an accident.
William Pilato, 39, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 20, following an investigation into a crash that took place around 9 p.m. in the area of Cannon Road, said the Wilton Police Department.
According to police, when officers arrived on the scene of the crash they found that a Chevy Silverado truck had run off the roadway, struck two utility poles, and continued for about 30 yards until it came to a stop.

Man Charged With DUI After Fleeing Scene Of Crash, Wilton Police Say
A local man was arrested for drunk driving after being involved in a car crash and then leaving the scene on foot, according to Wilton Pollice.
The crash took place around 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, on Seely Road, Wilton Police said.
A passerby reported the crash and when officers arrived on the scene there was no one in the vehicle. After a brief search of the area, police located Robert J. Polo, 54, of Wilton on Cannon Road walking toward Hurlbutt Street, police said.
