Bobcat Attacks Man Sleeping In Hammock At CT State Park
A bobcat attacked an adult camper at a Connecticut state park. The attack took place during the early morning hours of Friday, June 30 in New London County at Selden Neck Island in Selden Neck State Park in Lyme. A 12-year-old Boy Scout is on the mend after an encounter with a black bear left him with minor injuries, ABC7 reports. Henry Ayers told the outlet he was with his troop from Cooperstown camping at Harriman State Park, located in both Rockland and Orange counties, Sunday, May 1, when he awoke to a sharp pain in his leg. Days before Gabby Petito’s family realized the young woman was lying dead among the rocks in Wyoming, her boyfriend and fellow Long Island native Brian Laundrie, was camping with his family.
