Two Teens Nabbed For Stealing Woman's Purse In Shelton As She Loaded Items In Car Two 16-year-olds were nabbed after allegedly stealing the purse of a 73-year-old Fairfield County woman as she loaded items in her car. The incident took place in Shelton at the Walmart located on Bridgeport Avenue around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31. According to Shelton Police, a vehicle approached the woman and the passenger exited and stole her purse while pushing her.  Eyewitnesses and video surveillance revealed the vehicle was Hyundai Tucson which was later discovered to be stolen, police said.
