Christian David-Devon Johnson, of Bridgeport, died in his sleep while staying at his grandfather’s Hamden home, the boy’s family said. Johnson died at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Thursday, Jan. 16. The cause of death has not been determined by the Medical Examiner. Following the child’s death, his family set up a campaign, “Christian’s Credo,” in his memory. Michael Zrelak, hometown not known, was killed after he was hit by a car on Boston Avenue around 11 a.m. Friday, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police. Later the same afternoon, Bridgeport police arrested Robert Dominguez, 25, of Shelton, and charged him with leaving the scene of a crash, evading responsibility and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
