The pig, sorry, don't know her name, was found at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21, wandering in the area of Barrack and Grandview in Ridgefield, said Ridgefield Police Department Animal Control Officer Kris Zulkeski. A dozen ducklings fell into a storm drain on Monce Road, in front of the Lake Garda Elementary School in Burlington. They were first noticed by a school bus driver who saw a distressed mother duck hop over a drain, which the ducklings proceeded to fall into.
