Police in Connecticut are searching for a witness who saw a woman allegedly throw two kittens out of her moving car, killing both.
The incident occurred in New Haven County around 9:45 a.m., Monday, July 8, in Naugatuck.
According to the Naugatuck Police, after receiving reports of the woman throwing the kittens out of a moving car, officers located the kittens, about four to five months old, dead in the area of North Church Street / Route 63 by the dam.

CT AG Seeks State Custody Of Animals Seized From Unsanitary, Overcrowded Facility
Connecticut Attorney General William Tong is seeking state custody of 70 animals that were seized from an overcrowded, unsanitary animal rescue facility.
The animals were seized from CT Pregnant Dog and Cat Rescue, located on Porter Road in the Tolland County town of Hebron, on Friday, March 25.

Man Charged After Dog Attack In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was charged after two of his dogs allegedly got loose and attacked a miniature horse.
Brian Andronaco Sr., age 58, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 19, in Wilton.
He was charged with two counts of having a nuisance animal, roaming dog, and a failure to comply with a restraining order, said Lieutenant Gregg Phillipson, of the Wilton Police.
Phillipson said officers responded to 140 Kellogg drive around 2:30 p.m., for a report of a dog attacking a miniature horse.

A woman has been arrested for allegedly throwing her dog out a car window as the vehicle was moving in Fairfield County.
Helen Skulski, age 56, of Wilton, turned herself in to Norwalk Police on Friday, March 26 after a warrant was issued for her arrest, said Norwalk Police Sgt Sofia Gulino.

More Than 30 Animals Rescued From 'Inhabitable' Home
Animal control officers saved more than 30 animals from a single “inhabitable” Connecticut home.
On Monday, Oct. 26, six area animal control divisions teamed up to conduct a search and seizure warrant at 200 Blue Hills Ave., in Hamden.
