Stamford Woman's Death A Homicide, Police Now Say Stamford police are confirming that the death of a local woman who was found covered in blood was a homicide. Capt. Richard Conklin said they are searching for clues and interviewing everyone connected with Eden Claxton, 74, who was found dead around 8:30 a.m. Monday on Hycliff Terrace. The woman's husband, Allen Claxton, 75, was at the home at the time of her death and is being questioned, along with numerous other people, said Conklin.
