A 16-year-old Connecticut boy drowned in a public pool overnight after jumping the fenced property to enter the pool. The incident took place in East Hartford shortly after midnight, on Thursday, July 28, at the Terry Pool, located in Hockanum Park at 320 High St. Police responded to Terry Pool on a report of juveniles inside the fenced area of the property, said Officer Marc Caruso, of the East Hartford Police. ID Released For Body Found In Candlewood Lake As Missing 20-Year-Old
Officials have identified a body found in Candlewood Lake as a 20-year-old Fairfield County man who went missing while swimming last week. Denis Junio Rodrigues Pio, of Bridgeport, was identified as the man who went missing in the lake near Chicken Rock in Brookfield on the night of Friday, June 24, according to an announcement from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection on Thursday, June 30. His body was recovered on Tuesday, June 28, officials said. The department said the case is being investigated as an accidental drowning.

Officials Identify Body Of Missing Man Found In Candlewood Lake
Officials have identified a 24-year-old man whose body was found in Candlewood Lake after a weeks-long search for him. Hartford County resident Larry Kwokpo Chan, of Bristol, was identified as the man whose body was recovered from the lake on Thursday, June 16, according to an announcement from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection on Tuesday, June 21. He was reported missing on Sunday, May 29, after he went from a vessel into the water, authorities previously reported. Man, 21, Pronounced Dead In Greenwich After Apparent Accidental Drowning
A 21-year-old man died after what authorities say appears to be an accidental drowning. The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was found around 7:15 p.m. Friday, June 12 in Westchester near Rye Playland and the Edith Read Sanctuary. EMS personnel performed CPR on the man at the scene. He was pronounced dead at Greenwich Hospital. Signs posted in the area say that swimming, fishing and kayaking are not permitted. Danbury Man Found Dead In Northern Westchester Pond
The identity has been released for a man found dead in an area pond. The man's body was spotted in Northern Westchester around 2 p.m. Friday, May 1 at Leonard Park in Mount Kisco by a Westchester County police sergeant, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the police department. The man has been identified as Fairfield County resident Amadeo Rodriguez, a 71-year-old resident of Danbury, O'Leary said.
