Worker Critically Injured After Being Pinned Between Vehicles In Fairfield County A Fairfield County construction worker was critically injured after being pinned between two vehicles in a freak accident. The incident took around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, in the area of 401 Wildwood Road in Stamford. Officers were dispatched on a report of a two-vehicle collision in which a person was trapped between the two vehicles, said Sgt. Jeffrey Booth of the Stamford Police Department.
