Ridgefield Playhouse To Host Costume 5K Run Saturday

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Playhouse is hosting a Costumed Pumpkin 5K Run on Saturday.

"Let your cup of witches' brew runneth over at our Costumed Pumpkin Run," Playhouse representatives said in a notice. "Tricks and treats, plenty of great costumes, and a fun way to keep warm -- what more could you ask for?"

All ages are welcome to the 5K which begins at 9 a.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 East Ridge Road in Ridgefield, according to the notice. The 5K finishes at Bailey Avenue and Main Street. Registration for the event closes Friday.

"Costumes are encouraged, and creativity is welcomed with open arms," representatives said in the notice. "However, please be cautious; remember not to restrict yourself in any way or wear anything that may obstruct your senses."
