Ridgefield, New Canaan Girls Qualify For National Regatta

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Ridgefield’s Kalia Krichko and New Canaan’s Jackie Cloud are among the area rowers competing for GMS Rowing Center in this weekend’s USRowing Youth National Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

Krichko, Cloud, Christine Habjan and Grace Bundy finished fourth at the regional qualifying regatta last month in Massachusetts. Krichko also qualified for nationals in the lightweight doubles with a third-place finish with Alexandra Salazar.

GMS Rowing also qualified two boys boats for the national regatta.

GMS is coached by Guenter Beutter of Wilton.
