Storm Delays Opening Of Schools In Ridgefield On Tuesday

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Monday's snow and ice and the cold temperatures that accompanied them will delay the opening of all schools in Ridgefield on Tuesday by three hours.

"We are planning for a THREE HOUR delay for Tuesday, Feb. 3, to allow time for storm cleanup," the school district said on its website. "However, we will double check conditions Tuesday morning and send an email update by 7 a.m."

About 10 inches of snow fell Monday during the storm. All schools were closed Monday.
