Ridgefield Superintendent Sees Need For More Assistant Principals

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield Schools Superintendent Deborah Low proposed at a recent Board of Education budget meeting that the district add two new assistant principals to help the elementary schools, according to the Ridgefield Press.

While several subjects were discussed as possible priorities for the 2014-2015 school year, none generated as much discussion as the additional positions. Opponents to Low's proposal questioned what the role of the two assistant principals would be and how they would logistically cover the six elementary schools in the district, the Ridgefield Press said.
