RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A 15-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound in possible connection with a shooting on Hulda Lane in Ridgefield on Monday, according to the Ridgefield Press.
Police told the Ridgefield Press that they were investigating reports of a shooting on Hulda Lane on Monday morning. A Hulda Lane homeowner reported at the same time that somebody had attempted to steal a car from the driveway, the Ridgefield Press reported.
Police learned a short time later that the 15-year-old had arrived at Waterbury Hospital with a gunshot wound, and that she may have been in Ridgefield that morning, according to the Ridgefield Press. Police told the Ridgefield Press that the girl was expected to survive the wound.
Police from Ridgefield, as well as Connecticut State Police are investigating the incidents, according to the Ridgefield Press.
