Ridgefield Police Collect 60 Pounds Of Medication On Drug Take Back Day

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A total of 59.5 pounds of unwanted and unused medications were collected in Ridgefield on Saturday, April 30, during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

The event took place at Bissell's Pharmacy on 23 Governor St. 

A drop box is also available 24/7 at police headquarters to drop off unused, unwanted or expired prescriptions or over-the-counter medication anytime, no questions asked.

Bissell Pharmacy and the Ridgefield Prevention Council took part in this initiative.
