A 33-year-old man who allegedly threatened another person with a knife during a dispute over money has landed behind bars.
Rosbel Sanchez of Ridgefield was arrested early Monday and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening after police found he had threatened the victim over money, said New Canaan Police.
Arriving officers found that Sanchez and the victim had an argument over money and at some point he took a knife out of a kitchen drawer and threatened to harm the victim, police said.
Police did not find the knife when they arrived at the home on Cross Street.
Sanchez is being held on $5,000 and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
