Police Charge Woman With Theft At Ridgefield Kohls

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – A 22-year-old woman was charged with larceny after police were called to the Kohls on Danbury Road, Ridgefield Police said.

The police report said Stephanie Ewud of Redding was stopped by the loss prevention agents at Kohls for stealing three bracelets. The value of the bracelets is less than $250, police said.

Ridgefield police arrived on the scene and charged Ewud with larceny, a misdemeanor.

Ewud was released with a written promise to appear and is due at Danbury Superior Court on Sept. 19.
