No leads in search for missing Ridgefield girl, 13

HAVE YOU SEEN HER? With  no leads to speak of, Ridgefield police have been joined by the New Jersey State Police, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the NYPD in the search for a 13-year-old borough girl who went missing yesterday.

Her mother said she last saw Iana Darlington at 7:30 this morning at their Bruce Street home before she left for work in New York City, Capt. Richard Besser told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

She never showed up at at the Slocum-Skewes School, where she is a cheerleader, about a 10-minute walk from her mother’s home.

School officials contacted the family later that morning.

There were no immediate signs of foul play, the captain said.

Iana is 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a navy-blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
