RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A Maryland man was arrested after getting involved in a fight at a youth hockey game at the Winter Garden Arena in Ridgefield last week, according to the Ridgefield Press.

Police told the Ridgefield Press that on Friday, Oct. 20, the arena was hosting a hockey game between teams from Maryland and Toronto when a fight broke out between the teenage players. At that point, 42-year-old Eric Rancourt of Frederick, Maryland, went out onto the ice during the fight and came into contact with some of the players, the Ridgefield Press reported.

Rancourt was asked multiple times to leave, and had been disruptive during the game, according to the Ridgefield Press. He was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 2, the Ridgefield Press reported.
