Jonathan Hinote, 23, remained held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail this morning, charged with illegal handgun possession, following yesterday’s incident.

State Police began looking for a red Ford pickup with Alabama registration driven by Hinote yesterday morning.

“His wife was giving updates of their locations via text,” NJSP Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The pickup passed through Woodbridge as troopers began narrowing their search, and arrived at “The Vince” around 8:45 a.m.

Troopers swiftly moved in and took the 6-foot-3-inch, 340-pound Hinote into custody without incident after spotting a black handgun in plain view, Williams said.

Hinote was being held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with illegal handgun possession.
