Fire officials told the Ridgefield Press that the fire was electrical, but the exact cause is still under investigation. It is believed to have started on the second floor, causing flames and heavy smoke, the Ridgefield Press reported. There was burn and smoke damage, as well as water damage on both floors of the home, according to the Ridgefield Press.
