RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Thomas J. Bibb of Ridgefield died Thursday, June 5. He was 79.
Bibb was born June 11, 1934, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Sumpter and Inez (Childers) Bibb. He attended Fort Worth schools and Arlington Heights High School and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture. His career spanned from New York to London and later to Texas. He continued his profession in Ridgefield, when he moved from Texas in 1987. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Bibb is survived by his wife, Susan (Colliton) Bibb; and daughter, Sarah C. Bibb of Fort Worth. He was predeceased by his parents; son, Michael Bibb; and brother, Sumter (Georgia) Bibb.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at a time and place to be announced.
