RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Peter LaForte, MD, of Ridgefield died Sunday, Aug. 24. He was 89.
LaForte is survived by his wife, Jeannette (Grieco) LaForte; children, Peter J. (Judy Ratner) LaForte of Stamford, Elizabeth LaForte of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Christopher A. LaForte of Bethel; sister, Faye Reggio of Howard Beach, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Aug. 28 in St. Mary Catholic Church, 55 Catoonah St., Ridgefield. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield.
