RIDGEFIELD, Conn. Patricia A. Jones of Ridgefield died Sept. 15 at her home. She was 80.
Jones was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Owen and Elizabeth Duffy McKenna. Raised in Queens, N.Y., she attended local schools and St. Theresa High School. In 1952, she married Robert Jones and moved to Huntington, N.Y., where they lived until 1968 before moving to Ridgefield.
A Ridgefield resident for the past 44 years, Jones was a member of Sacred Heart Parish of Georgetown. An avid reader, she enjoyed flower gardening and family genealogy.
Jones is survived by six children, Robert (Debra) Jones, of Fairfield, Michael Jones, of Milford, Conn., Jeanne (Frank) Rowella, of Ridgefield, Brian (Dorothy) Jones, of Danbury, Thomas (Kathleen) Jones, of New Milford, Conn., and Suzanne (John) Gallagher, of Brookfield, Conn.; a brother, Kenneth McKenna, of Louisburg, N.C.; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kane Funeral Home in Ridgefield. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church in Georgetown. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Ridgefield at a later date.
