RIDGEFIELD, N.Y. - Krysta A. Hamilton of Ridgefield died Sunday, June 30. She was 42.
Hamilton was born in Mt. Kisco, daughter of Fred Cuccia of Larchmont, N.Y., and Krysten (Kaczorowski) Cuccia and raised in Ridgefield where she attended local schools and graduated from Ridgefield High School. A lifelong Ridgefield resident, she was a professional horse trainer at Moonlight Farm Stables of Redding. She was a member of St. Mary Parish of Ridgefield.
Hamilton is survived by her husband, Dennis Hamilton, Jr.;her father; daughters, Kimberly Hamilton, Jessica Hamilton and Nicole Hamilton; brothers, Jay Zipparo, Gregg Zipparo, Joe Zipparo, David Zipparo and Todd Cuccia; sisters, Ali Zipparo, Hiliary Collins and Brooke Manning; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother.
Calling hours are Wednesday, July 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 5 at 10:15 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Ridgefield. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
