NEWTOWN, Conn. - Eileen D. Plaia of Newtown, formerly of Ridgefield, died Friday, June 13. She was 67.
Plaia was born in New York City, the daughter of Alan and Florence Wojcik Roddy. A resident of Newtown for the past four years, she was a former longtime resident of Ridgefield.
Plaia is survived by her husband, Michael C. Plaia; son, Michael A. Plaia (Alina) of Park City, Utah; daughter, Nicole Rosenberger (Michael) of Bethel; four grandchildren; and sister, Diane Falconieri (Thomas) of Ridgefield. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Wednesday, June 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 19, at St. Peter Church, Danbury. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
