RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Ridgefield has opened a warming center to help people handle temperatures that could reach a low of -11 degrees.
For residents who need to, the Parks and Recreation Center will be open during regular hours, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., as a warming center.
There are currently no plans to open an overnight shelter but residents who are in need of one are asked to call fire dispatch at 203-431-2724.
