Large Power Outage Strikes Ridgefield After Heavy Rain

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — After a deluge of heavy rain moved across Fairfield County, Eversource said a number of customers had lost power.

As of 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Eversource was reporting the following power outages:

  • Danbury: 15 customers
  • Ridgefield: 112 customers
  • Westport: 12 customers 

It was not clear when the power would be restored.
