Elderly Woman Dies From Injuries Suffered In Ridgefield Condo Fire

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A 78-year-old woman from Ridgefield died Sunday as the result of the injuries she suffered in a fire last Thursday evening at her home in the Casagmo condominiums, according to a story in The Ridgefield Press.

Sandra Reyes, 78, of Ridgefield died as the result of a injuries sustained in a fire on April 23.

Sandra Reyes, a former resident of Katonah, died at the Bridgeport Hospital Burn Unit, the Ridgefield Press said. She suffered smoke inhalation and other injuries in a blaze at 15 Cook Close, Fire Marshal David A. Lathrop told the Press.

Reyes' son, Joseph, who was injured trying to rescue his mother from the fire, was is in stable condition Tuesday at the Bridgeport Hospital Burn Unit, the Ridgefield Press said.
