Teens Invited To Paint Ridgefield With Their Halloween Spirit

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield middle and high school students are invited to join the annual community Halloween Window Painting event next week.

The Annual Halloween Window Painting event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 19, according to a press release from the town. Kids can sign up as a team or as individuals to paint the storefront windows on Main Street in Ridgefield, according to the release. The event is co-sponsored by the Ridgefield Parks & Recreation Department and the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce.

"We'll supply the paint (water based tempura) and you supply the creativity," representatives said in the release.

If inclement weather occurs, the event will be postponed until noon on Oct. 20. The deadline to register is Oct. 17. For more information, residents are asked to email recinfo@ridgefieldct.org.
