St. Andrew's held its first worship service in the new sanctuary Aug. 4. It will be officially dedicated on Oct. 27, with New England Bishop Jim Hazelwood of the Evangeical Lutheran Church of America presiding.

The event Saturday will include tours of the new sanctuary, a bounce house, face-painting, games, balloon animals for children, and food for all, according to a release.

“As we celebrate God’s many blessings, we invite those who attend to bring a food item to be donated to Ridgefield Social Services Food Pantry,” one of St. Andrew's pastors, the Rev. H. Gaylon Barker, said in a statement.

Food may be dropped off at resource tables provided by St. Andrew’s Social Ministry Team. For more information, call the church at 203-438-0606.
