Ridgefield Skate Park Will Open This Weekend

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Skaters again will be able to enjoy the Graham Dickinson SPIRIT Skate Park in Ridgefield beginning this weekend.

The park will open for free entry from noon to dusk on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16, said Ridgefield Parks and Recreation officials. The park's availability is subject to weather conditions.

Spring Skate Park lessons for all ages start on March 18.

"Experienced and friendly instructors help skateboarders and inline skaters learn at their own pace and achieve their personal best," representatives said.

Lessons are held every Tuesday and Thursday. Residents can register for lessons for either one or two days a week at the Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Department website.
