RIDGEFIELD, Conn. ? Ridgefield residents with new or almost new coats to spare can donate them to a group that is collecting for residents of the Rockaways affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The group Ridgefield Responds is asking for coats, hats, gloves and mittens in adult and children’s sizes to bring to the Rockaways on Thursday, Nov. 29.
Donations can be dropped off at several location, including:
- The Community Center at 316 Main St.
- William Pitt Sotheby’s office at 470 Main St.
- The First Congregational Church at 103 Main St.
Collections will continue at the three locations through Wednesday, Nov. 28. For more information about Ridgefield Responds, visit the group's website.
