RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Looking to get rid of your Christmas tree? The Ridgefield Highway Department will be collecting them on Saturday.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. residents are encouraged to bring their trees to the front of the Highway Department at 60 South St.
The Highway Department will then take them and discard them. They ask that residents please remove all ornaments and metal parts before bringing in the trees.
